STACY A. SIEG
Owner/Director

Born and raised in Cudahy, Stacy started her dancing through the South Milwaukee Recreational Department and came to ENCORE STUDIO OF DANCE at the age of seven under the leadership of the studio’s founder, Lee (Burke) Harbon, who became her mentor. Lee instilled her passion of dance, stage poise and enthusiam with constant encouragement and most of all presenting her with new challenges enabling Stacy to become a well rounded dancer and performer. To this day Lee still offers her advice and encouragement.  She truly is the one who taught us how to dance among the stars!

As Stacy grew older, Kris (Puetz) Shabla came into her life as the new owner of ENCORE STUDIO OF DANCE. She took the time to work with and molded Stacy to become a teacher as well and continually pushing her to new heights making her even more passionate for dance.

Through out Stacy's student career at ENCORE STUDIO OF DANCE, she became the youngest member in studio history to make SHOWCASE while in fifth grade. The following year she was asked to become an assistant teacher and was also given additional parts and solos in the recitals.  Upon graduating Cudahy High School in 1996, Stacy joined the ENCORE STUDIO OF DANCE Staff as an instructor. She had been Co-Owner for five years prior and now entering her 3rd year as Sole Owner.

"As long as I can remember, I have always wanted to have my own studio and now I have achieved that goal. (I guess all the dancing and tapping down the store aisles really paid off ☺). I was involved in many competitive sports throughout my gradeschool - highschool years, volleyball, basketball, softball….I know how difficult and stressful it can be, but I always loved to come to dance class as it would give me a calming and peaceful feeling to just come and be myself with no pressure or judgment. It was a place to learn but also a place to have fun! A place to laugh and enjoy the gift of dance, music and movement. I realize that everyone is in dance for different reasons, but if I can give them a feeling of confidence and make them feel good and proud of themselves, then I will have accomplished my goal as a dance studio owner and as a mentor
Thank you to all who continue to help make my dreams come true~none of this would be possible without YOU!!"

 Kaileigh Gonzalez

Ballet/Tap Combo, Tap/Jazz Combo

Kaileigh Gonzalez graduated from St. Francis High School in 2005 where she was a member of the National Honor Society, Pep Club, and International Club along with playing volleyball for five years. Currently she is a student at University of Wisconsin Milwaukee majoring in Communication, anticipating graduation in Spring 2010. She has worked at Northwestern Mutual for four years, starting as a high school co-op and now as a college co-op.

Kaileigh started her dancing journey 19 years ago, when she was four, at ENCORE STUDIO OF DANCE working her way through jazz, tap, classical ballet, pointe ballet and lyrical classes. She made SHOWCASE as a freshman in addition to being asked to be an assistant teacher. Upon high school graduation she took on her own classes and is starting her fourth year as part of the ENCORE STUDIO OF DANCE staff. She has taken Tap I & II and Jazz all at the college level.

Amidst the busy dance and school schedule, Kaileigh is also very active in the sport of showing dogs, starting again at the age of four, due to her grandmother breeding Miniature Schnauzers. Most weekends she is traveling the country working for a professional dog handler and showing her own dogs. She was the number one Miniature Schnauzer Junior Handler for five years. In 2005 her Smooth Collie, Crystal, was number 12 in the country. Together they won an Award of Merit at the Eukanuba Tournament of Champions show in Tampa in January of 2006 as well as the Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show in New York in February of 2007. She is quickly climbing the rankings with her Miniature Schnauzer, Kari, so far in 2008!
